with light winds and developing clear skies in the late afternoon.
Manager's comments: After the
inclement weather of the last 24 hours, it was a lovely day to be out on the
river. After fishing, many of the team lingered for a beer at the upstream end
of the lodge where, out of the wind and in the full sun, it felt like a
summer’s day. With sun beating on the balcony outside the dining room the
thermometer was registering a blistering 17C at dinner time!

Jerome M had a good morning with
two fish, 10lbs and 18lbs, from Lake and lost a third. Bryan S enjoyed more
success retaining his right to a daily entry in the fishing book with a fresh
15lber. He also boldly tried a dry fly on Lyliok after dinner and got a couple of points of action but no hook up.

Frank L (aka ‘Running Angel’)
landed two, a fresh 12lber from a pocket above the Home Pool in the morning and
a 15.5lber from Lyliok in the afternoon. His fishing partner increased his
score further for the unofficial ‘King of the Kelts’ award!
Fresh fish from opposite Pump
The biggest fish of the day fell to
Geoff B who landed a superb fresh 26lb cock fish from Lyliok. Once again it was
big Snaeldas doing the damage today.
Young Vova with Geoff's fresh fish
The team have definitely
encountered more fish over the last two days and we are full of hope for our
last day of the week.
